Current research topics

My current investigations are in the field of nonlocal problems with integral conditions for partial differential equations of the hyperbolic type. Here is the list of the most important prints on the topic:

Other scientific interests and research plans

My plans are closely related with what I'm doing now:

1. nonlocal problems with integral conditions for PDEs of parabolic and mixed (parabolo-hyperbolic) type;
2. approximate methods for nonlocal problems for PDEs;
3. optimal control of the systems, described with nonlocal problems for PDEs.

Hobbies

Thanks to my parents, I cannot live without music, literature, cars, pets and nature :-) I listen to very different kinds of music - mostly classic rock (The Beatles, Led Zeppelin), art-rock (Jethro Tull, Emerson Lake & Palmer), progressive-metal (Dream Theater, Nightwish), and also Jazz and Classical. I've got a good collection of books - including russian classical prose and science fiction. I'm restoring an '74 SAAB-99 and really like rallying. I also like gardening, hiking, tennis, and photography -- but due to lack of time... You know, one cannot do everything.
